Getting Started with SIMY: Your First Task

Start with one useful result you can check yourself. A small, clear request makes it easier to learn what to share, what to expect and how to review the work.

Prepare your account and your first task

Check your SIMY account and the AI environment you want to use. The download page lists supported environments. If you work within an organization, confirm the permitted connections and plan. Feature availability depends on the version, plan and organization settings.

  • Choose one task with a result you can inspect.
  • Prepare the permitted source material and the output format.
  • Separate what the AI should do from what you want to review yourself.

Install the app and check the connection

Install the appropriate SIMY app from the official download page. Follow the account connection instructions, connect the Codex or Claude environment you use, and check that the account and organization are the ones you intend.

If connection does not complete, check the destination, sign-in state and any connection expiry shown before reconnecting. Opening the sign-in window is not proof of a completed connection. Verify the connection state in SIMY.

Try organizing a short note

Compare the output with the original note. If an item is missing or an assumption has become a fact, point to that item and explain the correction. State the purpose and acceptance criteria at the start so the revision has a clear target.

Use only this note to separate decisions, unresolved questions and next actions. If the owner or date is missing, mark it unknown. Do not send anything externally. Give me a draft I can review.

Example request

Check the outcome before expanding the task

Does the result use the requested format? Can you trace its statements to the source? Are unknowns visible? Drafting and sending are different outcomes, as are changing code and publishing it. Ask for a result that makes the completed boundary clear.

Once one request works well, choose a sales or engineering example close to your everyday work. Confirm useful results within your current access before adding more connected services or permissions.
